Hi I am building a GPR50 for my grandson from a dismantled bike. Not hard but I am concerned on the fitment of the front wheel particularly the speedo drive. I have installed the correct washers and spacers but not happy with how the speedo drive looks between the forks. There is a small lug on the Speedo drive which i thought should rest on the fork leg??? Can't find any info online so would be grateful for some help.
We are re building the bike first to check its got all its parts, then take it apart again to clean and paint. Any advice on modifications while its apart would be helpful like exhaust etc. I have to bear in mind that my grandson is going to be 16 when we finish it!
Cheers.

Re: Derbie GPR50 Front Wheel Installation
Hi jkv357
Thanks for the photo. The forks on our bike doesnt have a lug. However I found that the speedo hall effect magnet was missing so a look through the box of bits and i found it. Once installed the front wheel looks better and the speedo works fine.
Cheers
