I heard that RJ hooked you up.
Have you picked up a multimeter yet? If so then you can trace out the wires from the key to the CDI. The lower wire on the CDI is generally the kill switch activator. If the key isn't connected to that then it wont shut off the bike. There's usually one individual wire from the switch that goes to turning the engine off. Check in the
Wiring Diagram thread for your bike's info.

I know this doesnt make sense, but somehow the bike fixed itself, now the key turns the bike off and I didnt do anything. Couple days ago key wouldnt turn off and now it does I dont get it but hey it works now

There may be a wire that is partially broken or is occasionally shorting, and when you turn the bars it connects or disconnects.
I would expect it to happen again, randomly.

Agreed. My bike does this as well, and I've tracked it to a crappy wire connection inside the key switch itself.
It's never been annoying enough to me yet to do nything more.

lol now the key doesnt work damn electrical gremlins. I need a new gas cap mine leaks when I put the tank straight up and I need a seat lock, Ive found on ebay in europe a package with gas cap, seat lock and ignition for like $60. I'll buy that and hope this key issue gets solved lol
